Biography

After searching unsuccessfuly for a firm that always lived up to their web site, delivered what they promised and operated according to the highest ethical standards and values I decided that the only solution was to start my own. I have successfully coached hundreds of job seekers who with my help found and landed the job they wanted.

I have been in the recruiting business for close to thirty years. During my career I have successfully completed hundreds of senior level searches in the fields of Information Technology a wide range of healthcare specialties and senior executives in a variety of industries. I have also managed large staffing projects of up to 200 positions. During my career I have built two highly successful recruiting organizations that were able to favorably impact many companies on a national level.

I coined the term “Functional Fit” to describe what I accomplish for clients and candidates. I find the candidates who have the skills and abilities required by the client. That is where most recruiters stop. A “Functional Fit” means that the candidate’s values and goals match those of the client. The candidate’s personality, people and communication skills match those of the team he/she will be joining.

My process reduces “time to hire”, lowers the interview to hire ratio, the cost per hire and improves retention. My candidate pool is not the unemployed. Most of the candidates I recruit are passive candidates who are presently employed, productive and not actively seeking a new position. In this market however you can't afford to pass on the best of the unemployed so I do not neglect any source or resource.

As a coach 80% of my clients have landed their job of choice after working with me for only 8 weeks. My Linkedin profile contains recommendations from many clients.I make sure that a client never makes a mistake, does everything the best possible way, is a skilled advanced net-worker and a master interviewer.
